I’ve spent a few years writing this blog, including a lot of content about Norway. But it’s not always easy to read, and especially not easy to keep on hand. Dozens and dozens of articles, useful but not the easiest to navigate.
So I’ve condensed everythin into a PDF guide, which you can download, and which contains all the info from the articles. All right, less blah blah to make it easier to find your way around 🙂
What’s in this guide to Norway
That’s easy. I wanted to make this guide more readable than the blog, more concise than the articles, easier to carry around, while still retaining the essential information.
Obiously, first, you’ll find all the information you need to travel to Norway.
So we’re going to find headings by city/region:
- The norwegian capital, Oslo
- Bergen and its surroundings
- Lofoten Islands
- Tromso, the arctic paradise
- Senja Island
- The fjord region
For each corner, you’ll have :
- transport information (getting there and around), including trip planners
- must-do activities
- the most beautiful places to visit
- hotel and restaurant recommendations
- and an interactive map
- best time to come
But you’ll also find plenty of information on the Northern Lights, as well as more general information on Norway, travel, itineraries and seasonal recommendations.
In short, I hope you’ll find what you’re looking for!
How to download it
Easy! First of all, it’s free.
And even easier, I don’t ask you to subscribe, to give me your email address. You will just need to click on the link below (or the image) and you’ll be redirected to the PDF file. Your browser will display it or download it, it depends 🙂
But I can’t do something easier 😀
Is this guide free?
Yes, it’s free!
You will sometimes find affiliate links, which, for certain bookings you make by following these links, will make me earn a small percentage. It costs you absolutely nothing extra, and it allows me to maintain this blog. But it also keeps this guide free 🙂 For example, if you follow a booking link in the guide and make a reservation, I get 1/2% and you get nothing more than a normal reservation, it’s totally transparent for you 🙂
Are there any updates planned?
Absolutely! This is the “first version in english”, but it comes from the 4th version of the french one. So this version is already ready to use and full of interesting content. Imagine, the first version had 50 pages. Now more than 130.
Some other regions will be added (Vesteralen, Finnmark…) and I need to update the links and info quite often.
How to help keep this guide free
Even if it’s free, this guide (and the blog) require a lot of work, some hours per day in addition to my work.
As some of you requesteded, you can use the links in the guide to help me, and also give a little tip on buymeacoffee. That will help and encourage me to continue to give you free content 🙂
Conclusion
And there you have it! This guide should be the first of a small series. And this version is also bound to evolve. If you have any suggestions for improvement, ideas, if you see any errors, please don’t hesitate to send me a message 🙂
